The Home Guard Directorate General ordered Manish to be suspended. Giving information on the matter, DG Home Guard Vijay Kumar said that evidence was found against Manish Dubey of threatening a young man named Alok, after which this action was taken.

In the case of Jyoti Maurya, Vijay Kumar Maurya, DG Home Guard, Lucknow said that DIG Home Guard of Prayagraj has collected physical evidence after investigation, and based on that, we have ordered that Manish Dubey be suspended and a departmental inquiry be initiated against him.

He said there were cases where the Home Guard could not do anything. He said the department only took action against someone based on serious allegations.

The Directorate General of Home Guards said that all allegations made are being investigated point by point. The officer said the chat is also being investigated and action has been recommended based on the investigation so far. Detachment and police investigation of the chat may be required and definitive action may also be taken.
